Overview

Tyler M. Landrieu is an associate attorney with Strauss Massey Dinneen LLC. His practice focuses on insurance coverage/bad faith, insurance defense, and general casualty litigation. Tyler also has experience in maritime litigation and anti-trust and securities fraud class action litigation.

Prior to entering private practice, Tyler served as an Assistant District Attorney in Orleans Parish, where he routinely argued motion hearings in open court and tried multiple bench trials. He then served as an appellate judicial clerk under the Honorable Frederica Homberg Wicker for Louisiana’s Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2018, with a concentration in Civil Law, and gained admission to the Bar in October later that same year.

Prior to law school, Tyler earned his undergraduate degree from New York University, upon accepting an offer to enroll as an NYU MLK, Jr., Scholar—in recognition of his academic achievements and demonstrated commitment to public service—for which he received a full-tuition scholarship. He majored in Economics, with a minor in Public Policy.

Before returning home to New Orleans to begin his legal career, Tyler also worked in Washington, D.C., as a Research Staffer for the United States Senate Committee on Finance, under Chairman Sen. Ron Wyden. Tyler’s work for the Committee focused primarily on federal tax policy and legislation.
