Strauss Massey Dinneen attorneys, Robin Cassedy and Marco Salgado, were announced by New Orleans CityBusiness for the Leadership in Law Class of 2023. This special publication recognizes area professionals in the field of law for their career and community accomplishments.

Robin Cassedy was promoted as a member of the firm in 2023 and focuses her practice on complex insurance coverage disputes and high-stakes bad-faith litigation. She has litigated these issues in multiple Louisiana state and federal courts and obtained favorable rulings for her clients, including on appeal before Louisiana state appellate courts and the U.S. Fifth Circuit. Robin excels in identifying strengths in her clients’ cases and developing litigation strategies to efficiently obtain the best possible outcome for her clients.

Marco Salgado is an experienced litigator who provides clients with creative solutions to difficult legal disputes. His practice focuses on insurance defense and coverage litigation. He has particular experience defending complex “bad-faith” litigation and special investigation unit claims for insurers throughout Louisiana. Recently, he has been immersed in mass hurricane litigation,  representing national insurers in such cases in nearly every venue from Lake Charles to New Orleans. Whether Marco is retained to handle a recently-filed lawsuit or assume one well in progress, Marco develops an effective strategy to meet the case-specific needs of his clients. He is admitted to all Louisiana state and federal courts to represent his clients in any forum that may arise.

CityBusiness Leadership in Law honors legal professionals in the New Orleans area in the following categories: court-associated, educators, firm-associated, and in-house counsel. Honorees are selected based on industry achievements and community involvement.  Honorees of this year’s class will be celebrated at an event on October 9, 2023, at the New Orleans Museum of Art.  See the full list of honorees here.
