Overview
Meaghan Jeansonne Norris is an associate attorney with Strauss Massey Dinneen LLC since 2022. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage/bad faith, insurance defense and general casualty litigation.
After law school, Meaghan clerked for two years under the Honorable J. Sterling Snowdy of the 40th Judicial District Court in St. John the Baptist Parish. Through that experience, Meaghan was able to enhance her legal research and writing skills, all while gaining valuable courtroom experience and learning how to think like a judge. Throughout her clerkship, Meaghan had the opportunity to create new law at the appellate level in a criminal case and coordinate the court’s civil, criminal, and juvenile dockets. This clerkship also gave Meaghan valuable insight on how to read juries through the nine jury trials she was a part of.
Meaghan has been a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association since 2019 and is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts. Meaghan considers herself a proud LSU alumna and enjoys cheering on the Tigers in her spare time, as well as cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
