Overview

Elizabeth Lunn is an associate at Strauss Massey Dinneen, where she represents insurers and businesses in complex litigation. Her experience is unusually well-rounded for a junior lawyer, having worked inside the firm as a paralegal before attending law school and returning as a law clerk. That progression gives her a practical understanding of how cases are built — from initial intake through trial preparation — and has enabled her to contribute immediately and effectively.

Elizabeth’s interest in litigation developed through hands-on experience drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. She is particularly drawn to liability and coverage analysis and the strategic challenges presented by complex disputes. Her work reflects the firm’s emphasis on precision, preparation, and collaborative problem-solving.

During law school, Elizabeth was Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and received the “Volunteer of the Year” award from Tulane’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

She further developed her litigation skills through a judicial internship with the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal, where she worked closely with Judge Rosemary Ledet. That experience sharpened her legal research and writing and provided insight into appellate decision-making.
