Kim Britt is a dynamic litigator with 20 years of experience handling complex legal matters for the insurance industry. Kim has deep experience in catastrophe and mass tort events on a national level; she has provided flood insurance defense for several Write-Your-Own Program insurance carriers under the National Flood Insurance Program all across the country, following numerous storms and hurricanes, and handled the defense of catastrophe claims under homeowner and business policies. Her practice also includes personal injury and property damage defense in connection auto accidents, casualty, breach of contract and insurance bad faith litigation. Kim resides in Biloxi, Mississippi and is licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi; she is SMD’s primary counsel for matters pending in Mississippi.
