Overview
Jacques Landrieu is an associate with Strauss Massey Dinneen LLC. Jacques represents clients in a range of practice areas, including property and casualty, insurance coverage, bad faith and extra contractual claims, insurance fraud, automobile casualty, commercial litigation, and general civil litigation.
Prior to beginning his civil practice, Jacques served as a senior trial attorney for the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, sitting first chair for the State of Louisiana for all non-capital felony cases in Section B of Orleans Parish Criminal District Court. Jacques has previously tried multiple jury and bench trials, and has argued numerous motion hearings. During law school, Jacques received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in Trial Advocacy and placed first in Tulane Law’s Intraschool Trial Competition. Jacques also served as a managing editor of the Tulane Law School Maritime Journal and as a member of the Tulane Law School Moot Court Board.
Before law school, Jacques worked for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program, an educational, consulting, and financial program designed to helps small businesses throughout the Greater New Orleans Area grow their revenues and number of employees. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2013 with a B.A. in History and minors in financial economics and corporate strategy.
