Chelsea Crews is an associate at Strauss Massey Dinneen. Her practice areas include insurance coverage and defense, statutory “bad faith” claims, and commercial litigation. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
Prior to law school, Chelsea studied economics and philosophy at Georgia State University. Thereafter, Chelsea graduated cum laude from Tulane University School of Law, where she was Senior Articles Editor for the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. While at Tulane, Chelsea earned the Charles Kohlmeyer Jr. Award in Maritime Law, Robert B. Acomb Award for Most Outstanding Comment in the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, and Tulane Maritime Law Center Award for the Most Outstanding Case Note in the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. As a law student, Chelsea worked as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Judge Martin L.C. Feldman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, served for two years as pro bono intern to the Honorable Judge Bernadette D’Souza of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court, and completed a year-long legal externship for the U.S. Coast Guard.
