Overview
Alex Lauricella is an associate attorney with Strauss Massey Dinneen LLC. His practice focuses on insurance coverage and defense, including bad faith and extra-contractual litigation, catastrophic/disaster claims and related mass litigation, first and third-party property damage, first and third-party personal injury, and insurance fraud. Prior to joining the firm, Alex practiced with a firm that represented plaintiffs in a variety of matters, an experience that offers unique perspective, knowledge and insight to his current practice. He has represented clients at all stages of litigation, through trial, and in alternative dispute resolution.
A Harahan, Louisiana native, and John Curtis Christian School graduate, Alex attended Tulane University where he received a full athletic scholarship to play football. After graduating from Tulane, Alex graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate with a certificate in Civil Law. In law school he served as an editor of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal and was published for his research on multinational maritime corporations. Alex also served as a student-attorney for the Loyola Law Clinic where he represented indigent defendants in Orleans Parish Criminal Court.
Along with maintaining an active presence in the legal community, Alex supports his local community through his involvement as a volunteer youth football coach.
